I was conversing with a friend about statistics. I told her we were very much considering an out of town clinic because it is in the 80% range for success with DE. She was puzzled. She said with regular IVF they were advised that the odds were 50% even with under 20. And that an IVF procedure has a 1 in 3 chance of success.
With this discussion in mind I thought, why am I paying this kind of money if the odds are all the same?
So I thought I would post this and ask your thoughts on this, is my mind is a bit boggled by statistics. I know it's a **** shoot no matter how we do this, but we are really trying to stack the odds in our favor.
